Use of this site

CarAudioCalc is published for general information. You may read it, quote it with attribution, and use the calculators for your own projects. You may not republish the content wholesale or present it as your own.

No warranty

The information here is provided as is. We work from published physics, alignment relations, conductor tables and manufacturer specifications, and we label which figures are published and which are conventions, but we make no warranty that a figure is correct for your specific driver, amplifier or vehicle. Verify anything that matters against the manufacturer documentation before you build or wire anything.

Limitation of liability

Working on a vehicle electrical system carries real risk of fire, injury and damage. You are responsible for your own installation and for deciding whether a job is within your ability. To the fullest extent the law allows, CarAudioCalc is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site.
